Nau mai, haere mai. Welcome to Mana Tautoko.
When you join us, you are not just signing up for a service, you are joining a team who will value you, listen to you, and support you to live with dignity, choice, and mana (authority, strength).
Our mission is to empower people to enhance their quality of life, exceed the expectations of our community, and provide support that honours each person’s mana (dignity). Our vision is to build a strong, empowered community by partnering with people to live good lives with choice, control, and confidence.
We proudly support participants who are self managed, plan managed, or using flexible funding pathways. As a Māori and Pacific led organisation, we bring culture, care, and genuine whānau (family) values into disability support, the kind where you feel welcome enough to make yourself a cuppa without asking twice.
Mana Tautoko means to uplift and support with strength, integrity, and heart.
Everything we do is shaped by manaakitanga (care and hospitality), and deep respect for every person and whānau we work with. We aim to create safe, warm spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported to live in a way that reflects who they are.
Our support is tailored to you, your goals, your routines, and what matters most in your life
Safe support with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication prompting
Cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and support to build daily living skills

A Māori and Pacific approach centred on whānau (family), tikanga (values, customs), identity, and cultural safety

I’m the founder and director of Mana Tautoko, proudly Waikato Tainui and Ngāpuhi, and a māmā of three. I’m over 30 but still young at heart, still the aunty who loves a good laugh, a good kai, and a good kōrero.
I started Mana Tautoko because I genuinely love supporting whānau. I’m friendly and easygoing, and I like to work in a way that feels like home warm, honest, and without judgement. My passion is walking alongside all people to help them reach their goals, build routines, and feel confident and in control of their own lives. Everyone deserves support that actually feels supportive.
I love being out and about in the community, staying active, and finding opportunities our whānau can benefit from. I’m big on balance healthy living, but also enjoying good food and time with the people I care about. I’m always learning from others their cultures, stories, and experiences because we grow better together.
My role isn’t to take over it’s to walk beside you, uplift you, and remind you that you’re never on this journey alone.

I’m 25 years old and one of the younger members of the Mana Tautoko whānau, but supporting people to grow, succeed, and back themselves is something I’m genuinely passionate about.
I love helping people build healthy pathways for themselves, encouraging independence, confidence, and capability in a way that feels safe and empowering. I believe everyone has potential, and sometimes all they need is someone walking alongside them who actually believes in them too.
I enjoy being out and about, staying involved in the community, and supporting people to step into new experiences and opportunities. Whether it’s learning daily living skills, getting active in the community, or working towards personal goals, I’m all about uplifting people without taking over.
My approach is simple: be kind, be steady, and support people to realise what they’re truly capable of. I’m here to walk with you, encourage you, and help you build a life that feels strong, independent, and yours.

I am one of the experienced members of the Mana Tautoko team and I bring many years of knowledge from working across the disability sector. I am a māmā and I have supported the establishment of a few NDIS providers over the years. I also work as a Team Leader for another service so I understand the importance of clear communication, honest practice, and doing things the right way.
I also speak Tongan and Samoan and I love being able to support whānau in the languages that feel most natural to them. Culture is a big part of who I am and I bring that same respect and warmth into the way I support others.
I am transparent and straightforward and I always want the people I support to feel safe, heard, and understood. My goal is to guide people gently while still encouraging independence and confidence. Supporting whānau is something I care deeply about and I am grateful to walk alongside our community with the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years.
If we work together, you will get someone who is steady, honest, and committed to seeing you succeed in a way that honours who you are.

I am fluent in Tongan and have a strong background in supporting at-risk Indigenous youth here in Melbourne. This is work I still continue to do outside of Mana Tautoko and it is a big part of who I am. Being able to support people when they actually need it, not later, is one of the main reasons I was drawn to Mana Tautoko. I value the freedom and trust I have here to help whānau in real time in a way that genuinely makes a difference.
I enjoy creating meaningful connections and I have strong relationships throughout the community which helps me support people in ways that feel natural, relational, and grounded. I believe connection is one of our biggest strengths as Pacific people, and I bring that into every space I work in.
I am very connected to my culture and I spend a lot of time teaching my nieces traditional Tongan dances and songs. Passing on our culture to the next generation is something I am proud of and it keeps me anchored in who I am. In my role, I bring calmness, warmth, and a steady presence. I enjoy helping people feel safe, confident, and capable and I always try to bring a good laugh or some positive energy into the day.

I am someone who genuinely loves being a support worker. Connecting with people comes naturally to me and I have strong relationships right across the community. I enjoy being able to share these connections with our participants so they can access places and services that feel welcoming and supportive.
Because of the relationships I have built over the years, we now have access to barbers, food outlets, health and wellness spaces, and different community hubs that treat our participants like whānau. I believe connection is one of the greatest strengths we have and I enjoy helping people feel included and confident in the community.
I am big on family and friends and I spend a lot of my free time playing sports, hanging out with social groups, and staying active. Being around people fills my cup and I bring that same positive energy into my support work.
If we work together I will do my best to get you connected to our community so you feel supported, included, and part of something bigger than yourself.

I have over ten years of experience in the mental health sector and during that time I have learned the value of working alongside people not in front of them. I enjoy collaborating on routines and strategies and I genuinely believe that when we work together we can achieve anything.
I am laid back and I like to move at your pace so you never feel rushed or pressured. I enjoy going to the markets hunting for good deals at the supermarket and finding the simple things that make life easier. I also enjoy cooking and I am more than happy to help with meal prep and building confidence in the kitchen.
My goal is to support you in a way that feels calm, steady, and achievable and to remind you that you do not have to do things alone. I look forward to walking with you and helping you build routines and strategies that fit your life and strengthen your independence.

I am a confident and easygoing support worker and I have been supporting at-risk youth since I was a youth myself. Helping young people and standing alongside those who need someone in their corner has always been a strong part of who I am.
Before moving to Melbourne I worked in the Youth Justice system back home in Aotearoa and those experiences shaped the way I support people today with strength, calmness, and understanding. I am fluent in Tongan which allows me to connect naturally with Pacific whānau and support people in the language that feels right for them.
I am a father and a husband and I enjoy serving our community in ways that uplift, strengthen, and create real change. I love advocating for people who cannot or find it hard to advocate for themselves and I am never afraid to speak up to make sure someone gets what they need.
I bring a steady presence, a lot of heart, and a genuine belief in people.
